Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Decker Gates

A native of Salina, Kansas, Dr. Gates earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Kansas, followed by a Master of Science in Human Biology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Creighton University, where he gained comprehensive experience in all areas of general dentistry, including operative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics. Dr. Gates was also accepted into Creighton’s Advanced Endodontics program, where he developed additional expertise in managing complex root canal cases.

Does Insurance Cover Invisalign?

Many insurance companies cover Invisalign in a similar fashion to how they cover traditional braces. Is Invisalign The Same As Smile Direct Club?

No! When clear aligner therapy is planned and overseen in-person by a doctor, the trays we use are able to perform more advanced movements. This is because we leverage the use of attachments on your teeth. We will also plan ahead for any future cosmetic work, ensuring that your orthodontic therapy doesn't interfere with your long term goals.
